The UFO Zero was Wire Monkey's original concept for the circular bread lame, the very first UFO. They had 1950s sci-fi on the brain, some engineering ideas, and a lot of their mother's card games. It's a long story! Every circular lame you see today traces back to this shape, and the UFO Zero is still designed and made by them in their small Connecticut shop.

Its enclosed, ambidextrous body gives you the fine, decorative control Wire Monkey is known for, the precise scoring that turns a loaf into artwork, with none of the snags or cuts of a traditional blade holder.
